Sven-Inge is the scientific coordinator for the national centre CECOST, which is run by Combustion Physics. He also participates to some extent in teaching and applied research at the division.
Sven-Inge achieved a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics at the Faculty of Engineering LTH 1991. Thereafter he worked on theory and modeling within a project on pulsating combustion combined with teaching in mechanics. Sven-Inge began working at Combustion Physics 1996 and achieved a Doctors degree 2002 on numerical simulation of unsteady combustion. Thereafter he has participated in research on combustion of wooden pellets in a Rijke burner. From 2004 and onwards he has to an increasing extent participated in the management of the research centers at the division, particularly CECOST but also some research programs financed by the European Union.
